Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Svolta Technologies LLC, a limited liability company organized in Delaware, United States ("Svolta", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit svolta.tech (the "Site") or contact us through it. Svolta Technologies LLC is the controller of the personal information described here.
We keep the Site deliberately simple: it sets no cookies, it runs no advertising, profiling or analytics trackers, it loads no third-party resources of any kind — fonts included, which we serve from our own infrastructure — and the only personal information we ask for is what you choose to send us through the contact form. We never sell personal information.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Site only. It does not apply to:
- Our applications. Well Planner, Public Data and our other software products are separate services with their own access terms. Logging in to an application takes you outside the scope of this policy.
- Third-party websites. If you follow a link from the Site to a website we do not operate, that site's own privacy policy governs whatever it collects.
- Information that does not identify you, such as aggregate counts of page requests.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, company (optional) and message you provide. We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or any special category of personal data, and we ask that you do not include them in your message.
Technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure automatically records standard access log information for security and operational purposes: IP address, browser type and user agent, requested URL, referrer, response status and timestamp. We do not use this information to build profiles of visitors.
Abuse prevention. To stop automated spam, the contact form includes a hidden field that ordinary visitors never see, and submissions are rate-limited by IP address. A submission that trips either control is discarded.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide information about our software and services.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Site.
- To detect and prevent spam, abuse and attacks against the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are your consent (when you submit the contact form), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site and in responding to business inquiries, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Cookies and tracking
The Site does not set cookies and does not use advertising, profiling or analytics trackers. Because we do not track visitors across sites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the Site:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and content delivery. Requests to the Site are served through AWS infrastructure located in the United States.
- Resend — email delivery. Contact form submissions are delivered to our inbox through Resend.
These providers process data on our behalf under contract, are required to keep it confidential, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. Apart from the service providers listed above, we disclose personal information only:
- when required by law, court order, or a valid request from a government or regulatory authority;
- when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Svolta, our users or the public;
- to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy or give you notice before your information becomes subject to a different one.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records, and are deleted once they are no longer needed for either purpose. Content delivery network access logs are deleted automatically 90 days after they are written, and application server access logs within 365 days. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner at any time.
International transfers
Svolta is established in the United States, and the information you submit is processed there and may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate. Where personal information is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with any additional measures the transfer requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights; as stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address below. We will respond within one month and will not charge you for a reasonable request. We may need to ask you for information to confirm your identity before we act. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Security
We apply technical and organizational measures proportionate to the very limited amount of personal information the Site handles:
- The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS), with HTTP Strict Transport Security and a restrictive Content Security Policy.
- A web application firewall sits in front of the Site, with managed rules for common exploits, bot control, IP reputation filtering and rate limiting.
- Access to contact form submissions is restricted to the people who need it to respond to you.
No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your personal information we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If something goes wrong
If a personal data breach affects information covered by this policy, we will investigate promptly and take steps to contain it. Where the GDPR applies, we will notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and we will inform affected individuals without undue delay where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms.
Children
The Site is directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information we have already collected, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
